The band currently performs covers consisting of many genres (Rockabilly, blues, Psychobilly, Reggae, Swing, & Ska) and original music that fuses together those genres to create their own unique sound. They play anything from The Clash to Elvis Presley, Sublime to the Stray Cats and Muddy Waters. They also have currently been working on recording their original material.

GROOVE SESSION -- August 31, 2001

GrooveSession is a heavy hittin', high-energy, FunkyJazzyBluesRock three-piece band emerging from Southern California’s fertile music scene, specifically Ontario, CA.

Defying musical boundaries, GrooveSession blends elements of rock’n’roll, funk, jazz, soul and blues with choice influences ranging from Led Zeppelin to Herbie Hancock. This combination of authentic songwriting and dynamic musicianship possesses people to dance, epitomizing what a great live music experience is all about. It is a new sound for today's youthful music scene and an appreciated approach to yesterdays music masters with each performance being played as if it could be the last.
Poised with an arsenal of original material as well as putting their own twist on many treasured classics the band relishes the opportunity of an unyielding tour schedule. GrooveSession is captivating audiences throughout the country and rapidly gaining a rabid fan base. The music is what the fellas call groovin,
movin music! Each session is narrated with positive intent, compassion and humor. This past summer, GrooveSession completed a 10 state, break-out tour supporting the release of their debut album, The Flying Burrito. Now the trio has self produced 2 new CD’s, “Memoirs of NIWA” and “Warriors for Peace and the Positive Movement” and are more eager than ever to perform their new songs. The three-piece outfit consists of brothers, drummer Manny Sanchez, bassist Ronnie Sanchez and guitarist Sarvin Manguait. The group has performed with The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Greg Adams, Tea Leaf Green, Jeff Pevar, The Radiators, Stanton Moore, Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, 7 WALKERS Featuring Bill Kruetzmann Of The Grateful Dead, George Porter Jr , Papa Mali, and Matt Hubbard, New Riders of the Purple Sage, Robert Walter, The Young Dubliners, Evan Stone, Delta Nove, Lubriphonic, Little Feat, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic and Blue Turtle Seduction. Call them a jam band or a band that jams! SXSW music conference 2009 in Austin TX found the trio sharing the stage and night with the critically acclaimed Playing for Change, Band of Brotherz and Big Sam's Funky Nation. SXSW 2010 busied the group throughout Austin backing WahnderLust featuring Kim Manning of P-Funk and Lantz Lazwell, playing original sets and performing their renegade set on the street using a generator. GrooveSession is an experience worth taking....
