DEAR FESTIVAL PATRON:
The Celebrate Claremont family Festival launches WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2, at 5 PM. Kicking off the season will be the band Johnny Come Lately! The event will include a petting zoo, pony rides, encounters with exotic reptiles, face painting, henna painting, delicious and affordable specialty foods (including candied applies, shaved ice and other festival fare) as well as yummy main courses (burgers, hot dogs, Mexican food, Thai) and more!

Come one, come all and CELEBRATE Claremont at the family festival with fun for all!

  • Parking: Indian Hill to First Street, travel west on First. Park in the Parking Structure at First Street and Oberlin (next to the Packing House). Additional Parking in the Packing House Basement (south on Cornell from Bonita) Please note that vehicles parked in neighborhoods west of the Cornell may be ticketed or towed.
  • Event Location: Second Street west of Indian Hill

Marco AlejandroMARCO ALEJANDRO TO PERFORM...Marco Alejandro has been performing and composing for guitar, and other instruments, for several years as he continues his musical journey. He has had the privilege of meeting, collaborating, and performing with many great artists from many different mediums. Marco Alejandro has played with many musicians from around the world, and has toured internationally, performing at venues and music festivals. He studied music with an ethnomusicology emphasis, and Spanish Literature with a focus on Latin American literature at the University of California, Santa Barbara. Marco Alejandro has dedicated his life to music simply because he must follow a passion that burns within...and will continue his journey gracefully, humbly and faithfully follow wherever it may lead.

FAMILY FUN FOR A GOOD CAUSE
Experience an evening of fun for the whole family! Sponsor Volunteer Network International and beneficiary project Xela Aid present the Celebrate Claremont Family Festival featuring musical acts, taste-tempting entrees and specialty finger foods, fresh and certified organic produce, the quality wares of local merchants, gift-perfect local arts and craft items, health and wellness goods and services, products and new technologies for green living, information from local non-profit organizations, children’s learning activities and attractions including pottery making, bounce house, petting zoo, climbing wall and much more. The first season of the Festival featured quality entertainment for tots through teens and the kid in all of us. Learn, play, pot pet paint (or be painted), craft, climb, draw, touch, bounce, ride, slide...Look for more fun this summer!
